What I Think I Know (WITIK)
Eric J. Everard, MBA, MA, LSSMBB
After three decades of coaching within the military, healthcare and public education environments, I still believe courage must exist before confidence. I also believe the virtues, characteristics and skills of confident leaders are best learned within a family-centered system that is consistently reinforced by a trusted adult.
"I volunteer!"EXPERIENCED & EDUCATED
My leader development journey began on a dairy farm in Wisconsin then evolved with military service. My leadership was tested through two combat tours in Iraq with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Leading change in healthcare and coaching high school wrestling for the past two decades has confirmed that courage is the keystone of leadership.
In addition to completing several Army leadership courses, I was inducted into the Sergeant Morales Distinguished Leadership Club. I earned a Master of Business Administration and MA in Management & Leadership. I also completed 24 semester hours towards a MA in Curriculum & Instruction.
A Coach is also a teacher and change leader for the people they are responsible to keep safe. To further address these areas, I completed certifications as a PMI Disciplined Agile Scrum Master, PROSCI Change Management, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and NREMT certification.
In February 2025, My wife and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary spanning North Carolina, Germany and Colorado.
